IT ISN'T FALL, WITHOUT OUR ANNUAL FAMILY PHOTOS?

Hello Friends & Fashionistas.

As you all may know by now, Autumn is my most favourite season. It's the season I feel most happy, blessed, calm and very at peace with my myself and my life. Maybe its the gorgeous colourful scenery surrounding my windows or maybe its the crisp fresh air that fills my lungs as I run through the Caledon trails. Whatever it is, its a time I feel most grateful. For this reason, its always the time I feel a family photo is necessary. It surely isn't my hubby's favourite thing to do (lol), however its something we make an effort to do annually. How can you not, when your canvas surrounding you is straight out of a postcard. As our family grows, these pictures for us tell a thousand words. They remind us how quick our children sprout and mature and how fast things change from year to year. We love our candid shots most, as they best depict the children's personalities. Pictures never lie! They tell us a story that it is so difficult for us to ever remember in such great detail. They give us so much insight on what it was like at that time in our life.

Here are my family photos this year. I decided to go with denim, grey and pink as they are super hot colors this season and contrasting with the fall colors that were surrounding us. Everyone was happy with their outfit of choice, especially my son and his pink shirt. lol It's a running joke in my family. Kids seem to love a colour for a while and then quickly fall out of love and move onto something else. Well lets say, it took me 6 years to get my son to wear a pink shirt again. Maybe its because he is now 13 and thankfully maturing every day. ENJOY THE SHOOT.
