It seems to be that time of the year again when moms are at their peak of exhaustion and their countdown begins for back to school. For anyone with small kids, its a really bitter sweet feeling. If you are a mom like me with young children, the long summer days and late nights are finally catching up to you. These days, your dark circles under your eyes, your sun-kissed ultra dry skin and the remains of and old and crusty mani and pedi cannot be hidden any longer. You are just running out of steam and cannot keep up this facade of being the perfect mom any longer. On top of it all, you have to find time to shop for your kids. Come on moms, you owe it to them to get them some cool and trendy threads. So here you go...... I have done the work for you. BACKPACKS - No matter how much we teach our children to take care of their backpacks so that they could last at least a year or two, we are always caving in every August and buying a new one. Everyone loves the look of a crisp and shinny new backpack, right? I know my 13yr old son this year is obsessed with Under Armour and claims everyone in his school sports a backpack with that monogram. My daughters on the other hand, tends to be on the dainty side and prefer something more feminine. So here are my choices I have found for my own children.

As we know, shoes can vary from child to child. What one loves, another may detest. For me when shopping for shoes for my children, I tend to find stores that can satisfy tastes for most of my kids. Sketchers is the perfect store for that. Its a one stop shop. However with the older children, their tastes are becoming much more specific and individualized. I am all about supporting personal style, however as long as its tasteful and respectful. My kids understand that if mama isn't happy, mama isn't paying. lol
