CAMPING - HOW TO ROUGH IT IN STYLE
Hello Friends, Floggers and Fashionistas
When we talk about camping gear, we're not talking about your tent, sleeping bag, or flashlight. Yes, those are all crucial pieces to the outdoor-vacation puzzle. But when i'm prepping for a trip out of town, its all about the outfit at least for me it is. If you can look the part, chances are you will be taken seriously. I will be honest with you all , I'm not much of a camper myself, actually I think I could have been, if my hubby was on board. However, I have been many times in my younger years and still have lots of friends that do it today. They all seem to struggle with the question while packing.. "what can i pack that still makes me look attractive and feminine while camping?"
Whether you're spending the weekend roughing in the woods or glamping (that's glam camping, if you haven't heard the slang), you can still look put together. Packing your entire makeup kit for a weekend in the woods is a bit extreme, so instead, try my edited-down list of beauty essentials for when you're out in Mother Nature. Need more convincing? Keep reading.
1 Dry shampoo: Not every campsite will have a shower station, and when they do, wet hair in the woods can wind up being a chore. Stick with a dry shampoo, likeDove Style+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo ($6), to refresh your locks.
2 Spray-on toner: Sweaty from a day of hiking and sitting around the campfire? Your skin needs a little perk. Keep Evian Facial Water Spray ($13-$18) in your backpack to rehydrate and cleanse your skin when you need it
3 Waterproof mascara: Just because you're roughing it doesn't mean your beauty products have to stay at home. A waterproof mascara like Rimmel London Scandal'eyes ($7) is the perfect blend of pretty and functional
4 Tinted moisturizer with SPF: Keep your skin quenched, protected, and glowing with a tinted moisturizer with SPF. While you should still rely on your regular sun shield, Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 ($34) is light enough to wear all day and offers up good protection from the sun.
5 Facial cleansing wipes: Even though your bathroom sink is miles away, that's no reason to let your skin-cleansing routine slide. Keep breakouts at bay with cleansing wipes like Yes To Cucumber Soothing Facial Towelettes ($6).
6 Sweet-smelling bug repellent: Bug repellent that doesn't leave behind an awful chemical scent? Yes, it does actually exist! Honest Company Bug Spray ($13) keeps the pests away and smells of jasmine and sandalwood. You'll want to wear it whether you're camping or couch surfing.
Now about that wardrobe, planning what to wear when you are out there roughing it can be very tricky. Of course you want pieces that could take a little sun, sweat, and dirt and let's be honest , you are gonna need outfits that still feel fashion forward (because if it's not on instagram, did it really happen? Lol

3. LOUNGING / ROASTING MARSHMELLOWS
Whether you are roasting marshmallows, lounging at the campsite or simply preparing meals, always make sure to dress in layers. Whether it be a simple long sleeve t-shirt overplayed with a cozy sweater or a jean shirt, you will be prepared for any weather condition. Denims are always your best bet. They are timeless and look fantastic paired up with leggings or jeans.

Never forget to cover your head as the sun can be torturous. Whether you have got a toque, ball cap or bandana which would be my favourite, you can add that flair to any outfit and still look great.
Here are a few packing lists that you can consider next time you are packing for the big Camping Trip. Never forget denims, plaids, simple solid tees and tanks will always be your best friend. Not to mention those fashionable shades.
HAPPY CAMPING IN STYLE!!
